The Abyssinia Development Corporation (ADC) is a nonprofit community development corporation in Central Harlem. The ADC was created through the collaboration of local religious leaders like Reverends Adam Clayton Powell Sr., Reverend Dr. Samuel DeWitt Proctor, and Reverend Dr. Calvin O. Butts III of the Abyssinian Baptist Church to “rebuild Harlem brick by brick, block by block.”
