The Central Brooklyn Coordinating Council (CBCC) is a community organizing coalition. It was part of a dense network of civic clubs, block associations, and civil rights groups formed in Brooklyn, New York during the Great Migration. In the 1960s and 1970s, the CBCC published newsletters reporting on urban renewal projects planned for Bedford-Stuyvesant, as well as educational opportunities and youth service programs. Elsie Richardson and Congresswoman Shirley Chisholm were among some of the notable leaders of CBCC.
