Hough Area Development Corporation

The Hough Area Development Corporation (HADC) was a community development corporation formed by Reverend DeForest Brown to manage the neighborhood’s redevelopment after the Hough Riots in Cleveland, Ohio. The HADC undertook several programs to promote African American entrepreneurship and quality housing before becoming inactive in 1983 when the federal funding expired.
