New York Communities for Change

New York Communities for Change is a nonprofit advocacy organization, which was initially formed as the New York chapter of the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN). It is committed to building power in low and moderate income neighborhoods and addressing economic and social issues. It engages in campaigns and initiatives that focus on affordable housing, workers’ rights, and other issues impacting low-income communities.
