Planners for Equal Opportunity

Planners for Equal Opportunity was a national organization comprised of progressive planners inspired by the work of Paul Davidoff. Davidoff’s advocacy planning brought more democratic and participatory practices to urban planning and policymaking. The network was organized by Walter Thabit, a New York-based planning activist known for his work with Cooper Square’s alternate plan.
