Rural Studio

The Rural Studio is a design-build studio founded by architects Samuel Mockbee and D.K. Ruth at Auburn University. Rural studio produces well-designed, sustainable homes for the economically disadvantaged residents of Hale County, Alabama at a significantly low-cost by leveraging their student body and incorporating innovative materials and technologies.
